About the role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of critical electrical plant and infrastructure. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide specialist electrical and controls expertise across asset management, reliability improvements and capital project delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership to the electrical engineering team
* Plan and deliver electrical and control system upgrades and modifications from early concept through to commissioning
* Lead complex breakdown investigations, troubleshoot issues and ensure technical standards and documentation remain current
* Monitor plant performance and contribute to maintenance strategies that support long-term reliability
About you
* Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer
* Broad experience in industrial plant environments
* A strong communicator with a track record of working with a broad range of stakeholders and confident in leading small teams and contractors
* Proven experience delivering electrical and control system projects from feasibility to hand over
* Strong background in electrical design and commissioning
* Proficient with PLCs and SCADA systems
* Skilled in responding to unplanned outages and restoring operations efficiently
