About The Role
We are hiring a Plant Operator for our Chlor Alkali Plant in Kwinana, WA, for a full‑time permanent role. This position is a continuous shift position operating on 4 days on (2 day shifts then 2 night shifts) and 4 days off roster. Leadership experience will be highly regarded, but motivated applicants with strong operational experience who are ready to step up are also encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and control all aspects of plant operation under the direction of the shift supervisor
* Carry out a wide variety of duties when acting as spare operator as directed by Supervisor or Superintendent
* Carry out routine laboratory analyses as required
* Complete training courses as set out in the training matrix
* Provide relief for other operators as required
* Become competent in all aspects of plant operation
* Assisting maintenance staff if/when required
* Ensure that all alarms and trips of equipment related to the SIS and BMS safety systems are reported in the Incident Reporting Register
* Ensure all tanker loading is carried out efficiently and safely and all relevant records are accurate
