Job Description
As the Director of Finance at Daydream Island Resort, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of strategic and operational tasks, aimed at ensuring the financial stability and success of the resort.
What you will do:
* Overseeing all aspects of the finance department, including budget management, financial reporting, and forecasting.
* Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
* Leading financial planning efforts to support the long-term growth and sustainability of the resort.
* Collaborating with senior management to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
* Managing relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions.
* Monitoring cash flow, investment activities, and financial performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
* Supervising a team of finance professionals to ensure efficiency and accuracy in daily operations.
