The Role The ABC is looking for a talented and driven reporter to join our ABC Mid North Coast team based in Port Macquarie. In this role, you’ll create compelling news content across platforms and contribute to one of Australia’s most trusted newsrooms. You’ll work closely with a supportive team in Coffs Harbour and other regional NSW bureaux dedicated to serving local communities while collaborating with colleagues across the ABC. The Job Create high-quality news content for multiple platforms, engaging both local and national audiences. Present news bulletins, interviews, Q&As and packages, including breaking stories. Contribute story ideas and take part in planning and commissioning processes. Develop local content with colleagues for sharing across ABC News and other platforms. Generate stories that reflect Australia’s cultural, geographic and socio-economic diversity.
