National Capital Private Hospital is looking to employ a Registered Nurse Scrub Scout for their Operating Theatre. Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
1. Deliver evidence-based nursing care
2. Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
3. Ensure patient and staff safety
4. Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
5. Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
Minimum requirements:
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Working with children's check
* Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
* Commitment to Quality Patient Care
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work well independently and within a team
* Basic computer skills

If successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience, in accordance with the current Healthscope and ACTNMA/ANMF – ACT Nurses and Midwives’ Enterprise Agreement 2022, ranging from $38.72 to $52.32 per hour.
