Position Information
RHHC, located in the Lismore township, is a medium size (521 enrolments) comprehensive public high school working within The Rivers Secondary College.
Our school community includes a unique mix of rural and urban families, socio-economic groups, diverse households, alternative lifestyles and identities.

Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach English 7-10, English *****, English Extension 1 & 2, Drama 7-10 and Drama *****.
Teaching Expertise – Evidenced expertise in teaching English and Drama at the secondary level, including comprehensive knowledge of the NSW English and Drama syllabuses, assessment requirements, and the ability to design and implement differentiated learning programs that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
Student Engagement – Proven ability to establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that provides active student engagement, integrates multimedia strategies to enrich students' understanding and application of language concepts, encourages respect and collaboration, and supports the wellbeing and learning growth of all students.
Collaboration and Communication – Demonstrated ability to promote positive relationships using developed interpersonal communication and collaboration skills across the whole school community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
