**About the Role**
As the Admissions Manager, you will be responsible for growing the occupancy in a small cluster of Care Homes through managing the enquiry customer journey including ensuring an exceptional customer admission and settling in experience. You will work closely with the care home administration team who have co-responsibility for elements of the enquiry and admission process.
You will support our Templestowe, Donvale and Croydon care homes

**Duties**
- Accountability for maintaining and managing the funnel from enquiry to sale
- Manage all enquiries either direct from customer, Bupa National Contact Centre or from referral sources
- Conduct tours on site, ensuring follow up of all tours and maintaining a robust nurture program
- Close negotiations with families and overcoming any objections through using outstanding customer relationship skills
- Support care home in driving respite conversions
- Develop and maintain links with referrers and gatekeepers and promote Bupa within the greater community, including leveraging Bupa's other businesses
- Ensure regular meetings with the Public Hospital health professionals, community GPs, social workers etc; any referrer is in scope, ensuring the leadership team at the care homes are involved in the relationship management of key stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with the network of referrers including but not limited to Social Workers and Discharges Planners, Placement Consultants and Homes Care Providers.
**Skills and Experience**
- Empathy. Ability to listen and understand when talking to residents and relatives
- A willingness to 'sell' the home and it's benefits to the referrer network and the relatives
- Excellent networks within the aged care and disability industry and within the greater health care environment
- Strong customer service background with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and build upon working relationships effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational, problem solving and prioritisation skills
- Be able to prepare reports, collect and analyse statistics and utilise computer technology especially Microsoft Office Suite software
