Role
Paediatric Psychiatrist – part‐time remote. Reports to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide patients with professional medical advice via video telehealth using Access Specialist software as per appropriate specialty.
* Provide medical care through various therapies pertaining to the clinician's speciality.
* Post‐consultation, provide the referring general practitioner with all relevant consult documentation, including a summary letter.
* Ensure consistent and appropriate communication to the operations team regarding ongoing availability to undertake telehealth consults.
* Request patient test results from health professionals as required to enable thorough consultations.
* Stay informed on industry updates and changes; use this knowledge where appropriate during consultations.
Skills and Experience
* Experience within community‐based settings and the NDIS (preferred but not essential).
* Ability to utilise video telehealth technology to perform thorough medical assessments.
* Efficient communication skills to liaise with the operational support team and patients.
* Experience in using a scheduling platform to ensure availability to provide telehealth services remains updated.
Qualifications
* Relevant psychiatry medical qualifications or equivalent.
* Full registration with AHPRA as a psychiatrist.
* Hold a fellowship from RANZCP.
