City Renewal delivers design-led, people‐focussed urban renewal projects in the designated City Renewal Precinct, which encourage and promote social and environmental sustainability. We consult with the community, business, and government to deliver new places within the precinct that are of exemplary design quality, excite interest and participation and attract new investment.
Reporting to the Executive Group Manager Urbanisation and Renewal, the Program Director Land Delivery is responsible for overseeing land development obligations following exchange through to settlement and completion. The role requires an active, highly engaged approach, including direct involvement in contract and deed administration, developer engagement, compliance monitoring, issue resolution and delivery assurance.
While operating at a senior level, this role is not purely advisory. The Program Director is expected to personally engage in complex delivery activities, work through live issues with developers and internal teams, and provide hands‐on project management and practical advice that ensures obligations are met in line with statutory requirements, commercial agreements and precinct‐wide renewal objectives.
The role works closely with the Program Director Land Release, Chief Commercial Officer and the Program Management Office, ensuring delivery insights inform land program planning, release sequencing and continuous improvement. It also leads City Renewal's inputs into the Housing Supply and Land Release Program and supports alignment between land delivery, precinct planning and broader renewal outcomes.
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, veterans, younger and older workers, and people with diverse genders, sexes and sexualities to apply.
