2XM Recruit are seeking experienced Pump Fitters for stable, workshop-based positions in the Perth area. This is steady, local work with reputable employers in the servicing/manufacturing sectors.
About the Role
* Ongoing roles: (temp-to-perm and permanent from day one for certain roles)
* Workshop hours (day shift, with potential overtime)
* Hands-on servicing, repair, overhaul, and rebuild of industrial pumps (dewatering, slurry, centrifugal, submersible, bore pumps, etc.)
* Workshop environment — clean, modern facility with all tools provided
* Immediate start for the right candidates
What We\'re Looking For
* Proven experience working on pumps (essential — stripping, rebuilding, seal changes, impeller work, alignments, diagnostics)
* Trade qualification: Cert III Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
* Strong safety focus and ability to read technical drawings/specs
* Reliable, team-oriented, with good attention to detail
* Any relevant tickets (White Card, Forklift, Confined Space, Working at Heights, etc.) are a plus
* Full working rights in Australia (NZ/AUS Citizen, permanent resident or unrestricted working visa)
* Bonus skills/experience that will stand out:
* Hydraulic systems
* Valve fitting/repair
* Pipework and fabrication
* Compressor or rotating equipment
* Laser alignment tools
* Basic machining or workshop diagnostics
