This locum will entail providing support to a youth and adolescent patient caseload of varied socioeconomic backgrounds with diverse mental health presentations. This may involve addressing behavioral disturbances and early intervention for prodromal syndromes. The role is situated within a collaborative multidisciplinary community mental health team.The ideal candidate will provide:Demonstrated and advanced knowledge mental health with emphasis on expertise in clinical settings working collaboratively with young people and their wider care team.A collaborative work approach with the ability to lead the multidisciplinary team to optimise health status and well-being of each client/patient and carer.Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and balance demands of various stakeholders.High level of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively implement and evaluate plans to support patients.
