Primary Teacher Position
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join our school community. As a teacher in a Catholic school, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and enriching the sacramental, liturgical, and prayer life of the school while embedding Catholic teachings, values, and practices into your teaching and interactions.
Foster positive, nurturing relationships with students to support their spiritual, moral, and academic development. A key aspect of this role is creating a learner-centred, inclusive classroom environment aligned with curriculum policies and implementing quality teaching strategies.
Utilizing student assessment data, you will identify learning barriers and tailor support to enhance student growth and achievement. Collaboration is essential in this role, requiring effective working relationships with colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school and participate in ongoing faith and professional formation.
Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community is vital in encouraging student involvement in the life of the Church and community.
Requirements
* A relevant tertiary qualification and NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
* The ability to work collegially and collaborate within a diverse team.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, punctuality, and adaptability.
* Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school including coaching sporting teams and attending school camps and retreats as required.
* The capacity to create safe and supportive learning environments for students.
* A demonstrated understanding of the Church's teachings and the Catholic teacher's role in the mission of the Church.
