Vimwood Austraia are recruiting for the role of Warehouse & Inventory Administartor. This role will be responsible for administration of Warehouse and Inventory processes including receipt of shipments, vendor connect and organisation of picks, to support the timely dispatch of stock to Vimwood's Retail Partners.

This key role acts as second-in-charge to the Warehouse Manager and deputises / care-takes in their absence or as directed.

The role ensures effective administration, receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch of products under direction of the Warehouse Manager. This role supports positive commercial outcomes to further the success of Vimwood.

The role also has responsibility for Warehouse planning, Warehouse Management System administration, Policy and Procedure documentation and ad hoc projects, whilst also providing general warehouse support as directed.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Effectively performs data entry relating to receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading and shipping of products to customers as per direction from management.
- Receives goods in the systems and reconciles shipping schedule to stock received.
- Ensures stock is picked according to the schedules set by the Planner and Allocator and Warehouse Manager. Takes picklists and checks pack size before picking to ensure accuracy.
- Executes in-warehouse layout, pick runs, stock layout and workflows as directed by Warehouse Manager.
- Reviews, analyses and designs warehouse layout to meet short
- and long-term business requirements including reviewing storage capacity.
- Maintains and creates a report for replenishment for each retailer on a weekly basis.
- Weekly provides Warehouse Manager with staff productivity through the measurement of pick rates.
- Maintains inventory plans fortnightly, liaising with Planning team and Warehouse Manager.
- Manages and maintains data integrity relating to stock and warehouse management systems.
- Receives and reconciles documentation associated with the movement of stock into or out of the warehouse.
- Maintains stock records and assist in the set up and completion of stocktake when required.
- Verifies inventories taken against records and post totals to inventory records. Reports on outstanding stock balances and shortages.
- Identifies product losses and reports to the Warehouse Manager
- Updates codes and ensures warehouse Management System data integrity. Ensures stock is receipted correctly in the Warehouse Management System.
- Ensures Warehouse Management System has been updated accordingly to the transfer requests and informs Finance and Warehouse Manager to adjust SAP accordingly.
- Develops and writes standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each retailer based on retailer specific requirements.
- Develops warehouse manual and ensures all processes are documented. Regularly reviews and updates warehouse manual and processes.
- Performs ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by Warehouse Manager.

**Skills & Experience**:

- 2-3 years' experience within a Warehouse Administrative role, ideally in a retail/wholesale environment
- Strong competence with MS Office, particularly Excel
- Exceptional administrative and organisational skills with an ability to multi-task with ease
- A keen eye for quality and attention to detail
- Proven ability in working to tight deadlines and achieving goals
- Ability to work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Comfortable to work autonomously and equally in a team
- Experience coordinating other team members
