We maintain a large, modern fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment, and we're looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team.
Your Role:
As an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy vehicles and equipment. This role suits someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, has good communication skills and the drive to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in heavy diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulics
* Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance
* Perform safety inspections and complete service documentation
* Use diagnostic tools and follow workshop procedures
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
What We're Looking For:
* Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)
* Proven experience working with heavy vehicles or equipment
* Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Current driver's license (HR preferred but not essential)
* Commitment to safety and quality
