Job Summary

Sales & Admin Officer managing orders, accounts receivable, and daily operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Casual | Approx. 30 hours per week across 5 days | Botany, NSW 2019

Yalla Foods is an established, award‑winning food manufacturer supplying Coles, Woolworths, Costco, Harris Farm, IGA, and independent retailers. We are looking for a capable, steady, and people‑focused Sales & Administration Officer to support our busy operations and keep information flowing smoothly across the business. This role suits someone experienced, reliable, and confident communicating with both customers and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

* Customer Orders: take and process orders via phone and email and maintain positive relationships with regular customers.
* Accounts Receivable: chase overdue payments, send statements and PODs, and resolve queries promptly.
* Internal Communication: ensure production and coolroom teams receive accurate, timely order and sales information.
* Sales & Reporting: collate daily sales figures and update sales forecasts for planning.
* Procurement & Admin: prepare purchase orders, enter supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and maintain SQF‑required records.
* Freight Coordination: assist with organising outbound freight and resolving issues as needed.
* General Administration: help with stocktakes, office duties, and promotional periods.


Key Skills & Attributes

* Clear and confident phone manner
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Minimum 4 years' administration experience and 4 years in sales
* Proficient with MYOB systems and solid Excel skills
* Organised, accurate, and comfortable handling varied workloads
* Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is an advantage


More About the Role

Working closely with existing Sales Admin Officer, production and coolroom teams, you will help ensure the day runs smoothly for everyone. This role is five days per week, and while start times can be flexible, you must be able to work until 5pm every day. During staff leave periods, additional hours will be available and expected. Because we operate under SQF food safety certification, accuracy and reliable record‑keeping are important parts of the job.
