About the Role
As a Vehicle Operations Business Analyst, you'll support the end-to-end vehicle delivery process from Mazda Corporation to our dealer network.
You'll leverage your analytical expertise to model data, create insights, and guide operational decisions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
This position is based at our Head Office in Mulgrave and sits within the Customer Support Department.
It requires a full-time, in-office presence five days a week, with occasional after-hours remote support.
This structure fosters a collaborative work environment and promotes effective teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and model data to identify trends, opportunities, and operational improvements.
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and drive supply chain decisions.
Manage and maintain accurate Vehicle Operations data sources.
Prepare Power BI reports, insights presentations, and commentary for stakeholders.
Monitor audit controls and recommend process improvements.
Support budgeting, freight rate analysis, and monthly fuel charge updates.
Collaborate with internal teams, 3PL providers, and dealer networks to ensure smooth operations.
Contribute to system enhancements, user acceptance testing, and training.
About you
You're a detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
You enjoy collaborating with stakeholders and thrive in a role that combines technical expertise with business acumen.
To be successful, you will have:
A degree in business, analytics, supply chain, logistics, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' business experience with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Experience in requirements gathering, report design, and testing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle SQL, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge of inventory management or supply chain processes (automotive experience desirable).
