Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on projects for freight and commuter railroads and rail agencies, with additional training in MicroStation InRoads/Open Roads considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the creation of track and civil design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to deliver services for Class I, short line, and commuter rail projects.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
* Up to four years of experience in a similar capacity.
* Successful completion of the EIT / FE exam or ability to complete the exam within six months of employment.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
* Working knowledge of MicroStation Inroads/OpenRoads Designer is a major plus.
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
