Shape recovery as a Senior Dietitian in Toowoomba. Lead evidence‐based nutrition care for people with complex eating disorders, mentor colleagues, and drive service improvements across inpatient and community settings. A part‐time role where your expertise changes lives every day.
What Your Day Could Look Like
You'll play a critical role in restoring health for people experiencing complex eating disorders. From advanced clinical care to service improvement, you'll work alongside a supportive mental health team to deliver outcomes that matter.
* Leading evidence‐based nutrition care for a complex caseload, achieving safe, person‐centred outcomes across the care continuum
* Co‐designing and evaluating individual and group programs that strengthen nourishment, function and recovery
* Driving quality and service improvements – prioritising demand, refining pathways and reporting outcomes that lift performance
* Mentoring and supervising clinicians and students, building capability and a culture of learning
Let's talk about you!
You pair capability with care. You think critically, communicate with clarity, and bring people with you. You'll be proud of the moments you help someone re‐engage with life, and of the system improvements you leave behind. Above all, you live our values: Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage.
Here's What Will Help You Thrive In This Role
* Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics with eligibility for Dietitians Australia membership and APD status
* Advanced experience applying evidence to complex eating‐disorder presentations with minimal supervision
* High‐level communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, consumers, carers and partners
* Commitment to quality improvement, data‐informed practice and supervision of others; current 'C' class driver licence
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in regional or rural mental health settings and/or postgraduate study or additional training in eating disorders or mental health. Most importantly, you're passionate about recovery‐focused nutrition care and ready to make a meaningful impact—today and into the future.
Together, we improve lives and strengthen services—putting our values into action.
