About the Role
Kuuku Ya'u Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC is seeking a motivated and organised Administration Officer to support the effective day-to-day operations of the Corporation.
This role will work Monday to Friday, up to 4 hours per day. The position is based in Lockhart River, so the successful applicant will need to be able/willing to move to Lockhart River or already be living in the area (i.e. current family/cultural/community connection).
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing correspondence, reports, and meeting materials
* Coordinating meetings, travel, and logistics
* Providing administrative support to the Board of Directors and other staff
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems (electronic and hard copy)
* Supporting compliance with ORIC governance standards
* Assisting with communication to members, native title holders, and stakeholders
* Basic financial administration tasks as required

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Strong organisational and administration skills
* Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office systems
* A friendly, professional approach and a commitment to quality service delivery
* Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
