Role of a Speech Pathologist:
The speech pathologist will be working in the community with adults who have neurological conditions.
Responsibilities:
* Assess and treat clients with neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and progressive neurological conditions
* Develop individualised treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
* Conduct regular assessments and progress reports to track client outcomes
Qualifications:
* Eligible for membership or current membership with a relevant professional body
* A driver's license and suitable vehicle
* A passion for working in the community
* An interest in working with adults with neurological conditions
* Self-motivated lifelong learner who is open to feedback
* Able to work autonomously and seek support when required
* Client-centred and collaborative clinician
