Job Description
The role of Test and Evaluation Practitioner involves drafting, reviewing, and maintaining test and evaluation strategies, as well as engaging with various stakeholders. This includes developing test and evaluation plans, conducting risk assessments, and providing technical advice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting and reviewing test and evaluation strategies and related artifacts.
* Developing and implementing test and evaluation plans, including preview testing, developmental testing, acceptance testing, operational testing, and in-service testing.
* Providing technical advice on test and evaluation concepts, processes, and policies.
* Conducting risk assessments and identifying areas for improvement in test and evaluation processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant experience in test and evaluation within the defense industry. A good understanding of defense test and evaluation systems engineering concepts is also essential. Additionally, familiarity with the One Defense Capability System and current test and evaluation accreditation is preferred.
You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to identify and mitigate risks, and your attention to detail will ensure that test and evaluation plans are thorough and comprehensive.
