About the Role We're seeking a Senior ML & Robotics Engineer to to work on our Lookout+ perception system which flows into GAMA to detect, classify, track and avoid hazards at sea. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms for robotics applicationsIntegrate and calibrate various sensors (cameras, radar, IMUs)Develop computer vision algorithms for autonomous navigation and object detectionImplement sensor fusion techniques for enhanced perception accuracyTrain and evaluate machine learning models for maritime robotics scenariosIntegrate perception systems into real-time robotic platformsMaintain and improve the ML pipeline from raw data to deployed modelImplement transformations for accurate geolocation of detected objectsDevelop intrinsic and extrinsic calibration algorithms Required Skills Technical Expertise Strong proficiency in Python and C++, ideally with experience in ROS/ROS2Expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, TensorRT)Advanced knowledge of computer vision techniques and libraries (OpenCV, CUDA)Experience with sensor fusion algorithms combining multiple data sourcesAbility to implement and optimize real-time perception systemsProficiency in spatial transformations and coordinate system conversionsKnowledge of camera calibration techniques MLOps Experience Building and maintaining ML pipelines from data collection to deploymentContainerization (Docker) and orchestration toolsData curation and preprocessing for training and evaluationModel versioning, experiment tracking, and continuous integrationModel monitoring and performance evaluation in production Personal Qualities Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic environmentsExcellent communication skills for cross-functional collaborationPassion for autonomous systems and cutting-edge technology Why Greenroom?
