Job Title: Registered Nurse
We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to fill this challenging role.
The ideal candidate will possess current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, at least one year of nursing experience, and a valid NSW Driver Licence.
This position involves performing comprehensive health assessments on all persons received into custody, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
The successful candidate will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures, and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW and Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough reception screening and health assessments
* Develop and implement effective nursing plans
* Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and policies
Requirements:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* A minimum of one year's experience in nursing
* A valid NSW Driver Licence
