Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and qualified trainer to deliver a highly regarded construction industry training program.
This role will involve delivering training to adults in a casual setting, focusing on the preparation of students for work in the construction industry. The trainer must have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and be able to engage learners effectively.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and assessing the accredited training Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card), following all relevant requirements outlined under the VET Quality Framework and Training Package or accredited curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver training sessions to adult learners.
* Assess learner competence against training package requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results.
* Comply with all regulatory and quality assurance requirements.
Requirements
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
* Hold CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS Requirements, Policies, and Procedures in the Construction Industry, or its successor.
* Current industry experience is preferred, but not essential.
* A current Working With Children Check (NSW) and National Criminal History Check are mandatory.
* Demonstrated ability to engage groups while facilitating learning in an adult environment.
* Understanding of and commitment to quality training and assessment, as well as RTO Standards.
* Experience working in an RTO and/or previous teaching experience is desirable.
