- **The Opportunity**
Centro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project HSE Manager to implement, monitor and improve the HSSE performance and culture to safely deliver projects in line with company policies and procedures.
- The Project HSE Manager has the overall responsibility for overseeing and delivering projects by providing HSE and Construction management, resources, and operation guidance to the Project Management team.
- **Some key responsibilities of this role will include**:
Development and implementation of HSE and safety working procedures including review and sign off of SWMs and risk management internally and for subcontractors.
- Provide HSE Assurance & Due Diligence Support, including undertaking internal audits and facilitating external audits
- Where required, lead or review incident investigations
- Ensure projects are being monitored for workplace behaviours and compliance
- Advise and coach project staff with regard to achieving compliance and best practice for WHS, Workers Compensation, Injury Management and Environmental matters
- **About You**:
Experience as a HSE Lead in the capacity of principal contractor (is essential)
- Experience working in a tier 1 or tier 2 environment (is essential)
- Tertiary Qualification (Diploma or greater) in a Workplace Safety and Health related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Safety, Health and Environmental role in the Construction industry
- High level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

**Salary**: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
- ohs management: 4 years (preferred)
- Construction safety: 3 years (preferred)
- HSE: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- OHS Practitioner Certification (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
