The opportunity
As a Senior Analyst, Programmer (SEAMS), you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting a modern, cloud-native application that underpins the University's student e-learning ecosystem. This is a hands‐on, full‐stack engineering role working across a contemporary React and Node.js environment, contributing to both major initiatives and ongoing enhancements.
You'll join a collaborative development team responsible for a broad portfolio of applications, with the opportunity to influence architecture, improve engineering practices, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver high‐impact solutions across the University.
What you'll do
* Design, develop, and maintain applications and integrations across the SEAMS (e-learning) platform
* Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
* Lead technical components of projects and guide developers and contractors
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability
* Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and standards
* Provide production support and technical advice to stakeholders regarding the use of current or technology for application development
What we're looking for
* Experience designing and building cloud‐native applications (AWS or similar)
* Solid understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns
* Proven ability to work in Agile environments and manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
