Role Overview:
As a Fitter & Turner in valve manufacturing, you will produce high-quality valves through precision machining, meticulous assembly, and rigorous quality assurance. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and performance of valves used in various industries, contributing to our reputation for excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precision fitting, assembly, and turning operations on valve components
- Read and interpret technical drawings to meet specifications
- Utilise machining tools to achieve high-quality finishes and tight tolerances
- Collaborate with engineering teams for flawless project execution
- Conduct quality inspections to meet performance and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with machinery like lathes, mills, and grinders
- Design and fabricate specialised tooling, fixtures, and jigs
