**Full Job Description**
Our client is an Australian-based full-service telecommunications company that provides end to end solutions in access, transit and wireless telecommunications networks, and offers design, installation and maintenance services, that covers regional and remote locations across Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia. They are currently seeking a **Civil Construction Supervisor** who can work across their South Australia projects.
This position will be based in **South Australia** in Dudley Park, however the work is remote, on-site, and travel can consist up to 3 weeks per month.
- The salary package is **$100-110 k per annum + super + Travel allowance**.
You will be receiving very generous LAFA (Living Away from Home Allowance) and will also be paid overtime for extra hours worked.
As a permanent, casual employee you will have annual leave and sick leave and will also be given a car allowance to travel to the site in.
You will be receiving Training and Development as the company continues to grow, and be assigned to work interesting and crucial projects, while also receiving generous overtime pay and mental health allowance.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Overseeing civil construction projects as delegated by the Project Manager to include concrete placement, reinforcement placement, and erection of form work.
- Supervising and implementing site-level project activity on time and to budget and ensure that all projects are carried out according to QEHS regulations, and client process requirements, and include quality of build and standards.
**To be successful in the role, you will need to be skilled in**
- Concrete placement,
- Reinforcement placement, and
- Erection of form work
**Qualifications / Experience Essential**:
- Trade or Civil Construction Tertiary or relevant demonstrated equivalent experience
- At least 3 years minimum working experience in similar supervisory or leadership position.
- Knowledge of civil construction field practise as applicable to telecommunications construction and civil construction components, including concrete placement, reinforcement placement, and erection of form work.
- Demonstrated understanding of general concepts of civil construction engineering.
- High level computer skills
- Demonstrated initiative for productivity improvements whilst ensuring strict compliance with QEHS and client requirements,
- Sound administration, organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to build relationships with client representatives and install confidence in clients regards the Team's work performance and QEHS compliance.
- Appropriate certifications / compliance tickets including; high risk licence, white card, RF Awareness.
- Current Australian drivers licence
