Mechanic
We're currently seeking a highly experienced individual who is reliable and passionate in leading a team on a daily basis at the Kincumber Depot.

* Sign On Bonus: $2,000 (T&C apply)
* Earning Potential: $85,000 - $100,000+ with reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances, excluding super.
* Hourly Rate: $35.38 - $42.44 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Role Responsibilities
* Diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, and assembling the fleet while ensuring safety, quality, and Busways standards at all times.
* Maintaining all company vehicles and assets in accordance with Manufacturer's guidelines.
* Ensuring all maintenance work is performed according to company procedures.
* Attending breakdowns and carrying out any field‐related mechanical repairs.
* Effectively and efficiently communicating any safety or maintenance issues.
* Adhering to all Work, Health & Safety requirements whilst performing work duties.
* Maintaining clean workshop practices.
* Reporting and repairing all accident damage as required.
* Performing ad‐hoc tasks and other duties as directed.
The Successful Applicant Will
* Hold the relevant trade qualifications (MVTC) essential.
* Have a Certificate III in commercial vehicle mechanical technology, or Certificate III in light vehicle mechanical technology with 4–5 years of post‐apprenticeship experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities.
* Have experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles (training provided).
* Understand WHS regulations and relevant company policies.
* Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Have experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules.
* Apply a proactive approach with a drive for continuous improvement.
* Be physically fit to carry out the necessities of the role.
* Be willing to undergo a pre‐employment medical check, and work‐with‐children check.
* Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
* Hold a current unrestricted Australian drivers licence issued by the relevant State.
Highly Regarded But Not Necessary
* Medium Rigid (MR) or above Australian driver's licence.
* Heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience (training and development provided).
