Overview
The District Council of Grant is seeking to appoint an Airport Manager to lead the day‐to‐day operations of the Mount Gambier Regional Airport. This is an exciting hands‐on role where no two days are the same and provides the opportunity to contribute to teamwork, innovation, and everyday problem‐solving.
Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 (negotiable) plus super and motor vehicle allowance.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service across all airport operations.
* Oversee airport operations, security, asset maintenance, project and financial management.
* Collaborate with staff to maintain a strong customer focus and commitment to health and safety.
* Support team members to work efficiently and professionally in serving the needs of the community.
* Participate in a rotating roster for out‐of‐hours monitoring to support airport operations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Significant experience in a similar role is highly regarded but not essential.
* Flexibility and willingness to work rotating out‐of‐hours shifts.
