Overview
Full-time, 3-year fixed term opportunity to fast track your career as an Automation Graduate within the University's Automation & Innovation Team starting July 2026. Seeking graduate students completing studies in Semester 1 of 2026. Base Salary $83,038 + 17% superannuation.
Responsibilities
* Deliver automation solutions in an agile team.
* Build relationships with stakeholders and manage project communications.
* Troubleshoot and fix issues in automated processes.
* Identify and implement process improvements.
* Access fully‐funded training and industry‐recognised certifications.
* Receive mentoring and support throughout the program.
* Gain transferable skills with exposure to technologies such as Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, and Blue Prism.

Minimum Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, Computing, Information Technology, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, C++, C# or Java.
* Strong academic performance (credit average minimum).
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Recent graduate or final-year student (completing studies by end of Semester 1, 2026) from the University of Sydney.
* Relevant working rights for full-time employment in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) tools such as Blue Prism, UiPath or Robocorp.
