About the role
We are seeking an experienced Events Security Manager to join our Operations team. This Monday to Friday role (core hours 08:00–17:00) will involve extended hours and weekend work to support major events. You will play a key role in delivering high‐quality security services across a portfolio of sites and events, ensuring staffing, logistics, and operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead planning and coordination of minor and major events, including bump in/out and subcontractor compliance.
* Support rostering function of Service Delivery Coordinators to ensure appropriate coverage.
* Coordinate operational logistics including vehicles, uniforms, assets, equipment, and radios.
* Manage client relationships and respond to queries or complaints.
* Monitor and report on KPIs, operational performance, and event outcomes.
* Assist with operational problem‐solving and provide cover for the Events Team Senior Manager as required.
Requirements
* Proven experience in events management, including crowd control planning, client liaison, and subcontractor oversight.
* Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong computer literacy.
* Well‐presented, professional, and client‐focused.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and extended event hours.
