About the position:
Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Family Lawyer (2+ years PAE) to take the next step in their career. You’ll enjoy a level of autonomy that allows you to manage files end-to-end, balanced with approachable leadership and access to ongoing mentoring from a Principal who is both reasonable and encouraging.
This role is ideal for a lawyer who values a healthy work-life balance while still striving for professional excellence. The billable target is a manageable 5 hours per day, leaving you room to breathe and thrive. Regular performance and salary reviews ensure your achievements are recognised, and clear career progression pathways are in place to support your journey toward more senior positions within the firm.
Your caseload will include:
- Parenting and custody matters
- Property settlements and financial agreements
- Divorce applications and domestic violence orders
- Handling files from initial consultation through to resolution
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ post-admission experience in family law (private practice)
- Ability to independently manage files and meet billable targets
- Strong client relationship skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
