About Us
We are a leading hospitality venue on the Central Coast, committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our patrons. In line with the NSW Government's initiative to reduce gambling harm, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Responsible Gambling Officer (RGO) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor gaming areas to identify patrons at risk of gambling harm or displaying concerning gambling behaviour.
* Engage with patrons to provide information on responsible gambling practices and available support services.
* Facilitate self-exclusion requests and assist patrons in accessing gambling support services.
* Maintain accurate records of gambling incidents and interactions with patrons.
* Collaborate with management to develop and implement harm minimization strategies.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
Requirements
* Completion of the Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) training.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or gaming industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated commitment to promoting responsible gambling practices.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
