The firm's services include Financial Planning, Accounting – Personal and Business, Mortgage Advice, Corporate Superannuation, Retirement Planning, Wealth Management, Personal Superannuation, Self‑Managed Super Funds, Wealth Protection, Estate Planning and Business Consulting.
About the role
The role will ideally sit within their Norwest office; however, due to multiple offices this role can be worked out of any of their offices.
You will work closely with a successful leadership team, and you will manage your own diverse portfolio of clients, including some with turnovers exceeding $200m.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing financial statements and taxation returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
* Assisting with taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
* Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
* Managing client interactions and responsibilities
* Mentoring and training junior staff members including reviewing their work
Skills & Experience
* 3+ years of experience in Business Services
* Proficiency with Xero
* Completed or currently studying towards your CA/CPA qualification
* A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
