THE ROLE:
This role is a full-time position, with availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Reporting directly to the Human Resources and Training Manager, the successful candidate will seek a genuine, generalist opportunity at a HRC level, to provide hands-on assistance in the following key areas:
* Recruitment/Selection & Temp Management processes: Source, identify, onboard and monitor quality people to meet the growing needs of our business, whilst providing constructive and developmental feedback along the way.
* Maintenance of the HR administration sphere: Maintain and develop existing HR files, systems and instruments, monthly staff newsletters and network bulletins.
* Assist in departmental projects and initiatives: Employee Assistance Program, IR instruments, special events, regular meetings and info sessions.
* People focus and feedback conduit: Communicate with work teams and the whole of business group, seeking periodic feedback on training and onboarding progress.
* Support and promote key company values and ethos, to assist our valued team members.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
(Candidates are encouraged to respond to each of the below points, when making their application)
1) Candidates with high-volume and/or industrial recruitment experience will be prioritised. Recent HRM graduates are also encouraged to apply.
2) Recent and verifiable work experience at HRC or HRA level is required. This experience in manufacturing, engineering and/or construction assignments will be highly regarded.
3) The successful candidate will possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in building open, positive relationships with stakeholders.
4) The successful candidate will display well-developed analytical and reporting skills, with an emphasis on precision, accuracy and concision. Accomplishment in the MS Suite of programs is required.
