Overview
We are seeking an experienced, connected and highly motivated General Manager – Operations to provide purpose, passion and persistence in our security operations throughout Western Australia (Joondalup office location). This senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring the compliant, efficient and effective delivery of security services across a diverse portfolio of clients.
The successful candidate will oversee an established management team, in ensuring that services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual obligations & regulatory requirements. The successful applicant will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, improving organisational growth, retaining clients and driving continuous improvement throughout the states operations.
About You
The successful applicant will be a commercially astute and operationally focused leader with significant experience managing large-scale service operations. They will be able to display a proven ability to lead management teams, manage complex client relationships, and deliver operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide executive leadership and oversight of all operational activities across WA.
* Ensure the successful delivery of contracted security services including guarding, mobile patrols, electronic security, and associated security services.
* Lead and develop field-based teams to maintain high service standards and operational excellence.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and contract performance.
* Manage operational budgets and financial performance, ensuring revenue, margin, and cost targets are achieved.
* Ensure full compliance with all relevant security licensing, regulatory, workplace health and safety, and employment requirements.
* Drive operational efficiency, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support business development activities including major tenders, contract renewals, and service expansion opportunities.
* Provide leadership during operational incidents and critical events when required.
Key Skills and Experience
* Senior leadership experience within the security services industry or a comparable operational services environment.
* Demonstrated experience managing large, geographically dispersed operational teams.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
* Proven ability to manage major client contracts and deliver high-quality service outcomes.
* Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory, and licensing requirements within the security sector.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience working with government, infrastructure, or critical asset clients is highly regarded.

* A current security industry licence (or the ability to obtain one).
* A national police clearance.
* A willingness to travel regularly within WA and Nationally (If required).
* A current WWCC.
