About Yolla Co-Op
Yolla Co-Op is a farmer's Co-operative supplying a full range of rural merchandise to Tasmanian farmers. Formed in 1977 by a handful of farmers from Yolla in North West Tasmania, today the Co-op serves some 2000 members throughout Tasmania, from remote areas on the West Coast to the Tasman Peninsula.
The Role
Yolla Co-Op is looking for a focused Sales Agronomist to join our team. With the flexibility of working out of any of our three locations, you will be able to work independently while also being part of a growing team in Tasmania.
The role responsibilities will include:
* Provide on-farm agronomic and technical support to our existing membership
* Undertaking and interpreting soil testing
* Providing product recommendations for chemicals, fertilisers and other associated products
* Key account management for our larger agronomic members
The Person
We are looking for a qualified agronomist who is ambitious, innovative, and has a strong competitive drive. You will need to be able to handle a high level of responsibility and autonomy. Skills & Experience
* Tertiary qualification in agricultural science, agronomy or related field
* Five years plus industry experience
* Rural merchandise sales experience
* Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel
* Strong problem-solving, administrative and computer skills
