Administration, Registration and Costing Clerk
About the Role
Bathurst Motor Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration, Registration and Costing Clerk to join our dealership team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role is integral to ensuring the smooth processing of vehicle registrations, deal costing, and general administration across the business.
You will play a key role in supporting the sales and accounting functions, ensuring vehicles are accurately processed from purchase through to delivery while maintaining compliance and strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
* Process vehicle registrations accurately and in a timely manner
* Bring new and used vehicles into stock within the system
* Complete deal processing and costing in line with dealership procedures
* Manage and maintain vehicle keys and user manuals
* Assist with accounts payable, including payments for vehicle registrations
* Perform reconciliations related to registrations and vehicle accounts
* Provide general administrative and accounting support to the team
* Answer incoming phone enquiries and assist customers as required
* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and complies with internal and external requirements
* Support the wider team to deliver a seamless dealership experience

What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in administration, accounting, or a dealership environment (highly regarded but not essential)
* Automotive dealership experience is advantageous but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
* Good communication skills and professional phone manner
* Basic understanding of accounting processes
* Experience with ERA DMS system (highly regarded but not essential)
* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
