The business partners closely with shutdown planners, maintenance superintendents, reliability engineers and site-based mechanical teams to ensure compliant tooling, safe bolting practices and reliable asset performance.
With in-house workshop capability, field service technicians and technical support functions, the company is known for its strong on-site engagement model, practical engineering knowledge and long-term customer partnerships across Queensland and interstate operations.
OPPORTUNITY
This is a senior, field-based Account Manager role responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of major industrial accounts. The role combines relationship management, technical site engagement and ownership of revenue and margin performance.
You will spend the majority of your time on customer sites conducting hydraulic tooling audits, working alongside maintenance and mechanical teams, identifying improvement opportunities and delivering practical solutions that improve safety, compliance and commercial outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
Manage and grow an allocated portfolio of mining, energy and heavy industrial customers
Conduct scheduled hydraulic tooling and bolting equipment audits on site
Build strong relationships with maintenance planners, reliability engineers, supervisors and technicians
Identify upselling, cross-selling and new service opportunities across torque, tensioning and hydraulics
Prepare technical quotations and pricing strategies to achieve target margins
Maintain accurate CRM pipelines, service schedules and customer activity records
Work closely with workshop, field service, technical and finance teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery
Some travel required to regional NSW and Queensland customer sites

CANDIDATE
Trade qualified in mechanical, hydraulics or heavy equipment (essential)
Experience in hydraulic tooling, bolting, fluid power or heavy industrial maintenance environments
Comfortable attending mine sites, energy assets and industrial facilities and completing inductions
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage with both technicians and senior stakeholders
Commercially minded with experience managing quotes, pricing and margins
Well organised, self-driven and capable of working autonomously in a field-based role
