Underground Mine Planning Expert
The Senior Underground Mine Planner will lead underground mine planning and project studies to optimize life-of-mine strategies, cost modeling, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise and support safe, efficient underground operations
* Mentor junior engineers and foster technical and professional development
* Lead underground project studies to support operational growth and efficiency
* Develop, review, and optimize life-of-mine plans in line with business objectives
* Manage budgeting and cost modeling to ensure financial targets and operational efficiency
* Conduct project due diligence, identify risks, opportunities, and regulatory compliance requirements
* Plan and manage project timelines, resources, and milestones within budget and operational constraints
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining Engineering, 5+ years of underground mining experience, and 3+ years of planning experience. They will also be proficient in Deswik and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and possess strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
