Melba Copland Secondary School is a 7-12 school across two sites, with a High School campus (Years 7-9) and a Senior Campus (Years 10-12).
The Youth Support Worker will be part of a multidisciplinary wellbeing team, working alongside teachers, school psychologists, nurses, social workers, wellbeing officers, and attendance officers.
This role focuses on the high school campus, supporting students with challenging and complex needs through individual work, small group programs, and collaboration with the wellbeing team to meet the needs of all students in Years 7-9.
Key Requirements
* Mandatory: Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
* Highly Desirable: Certificate IV or Tertiary Qualification in Youth Work or a related field.
* Desirable: First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake training.
A merit pool will be established from this selection process and used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
