About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially astute Contracts Manager who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment. You will play a critical role in supporting project delivery teams, driving commercial outcomes, and ensuring consistent, best-practice contract processes and governance standards are embedded across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end contract management from tender stage through to project completion and close-out.
* Draft, review, and negotiate complex construction contracts in line with corporate policies and regional legal requirements.
* Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standardised contract templates, commercial procedures, and the Global Construction Handbook.
* Undertake contract and commercial risk assessments, identifying issues early and implementing practical mitigation strategies for major projects.
* Monitor and manage project financial performance, forecasts, and cash flow to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
* Establish and maintain robust project controls and reporting frameworks, providing clear, timely insights to senior leadership.
* Act as the primary commercial interface between internal delivery teams, clients, consultants, and external stakeholders.
* Mentor, coach, and upskill project teams to strengthen capability in contract administration, commercial awareness, and project governance.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure lessons learned are captured and embedded across current and future projects.
About You
* Proven experience in commercial and contract management within the construction industry.
* Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multi-site, and/or international projects.
* Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, procurement frameworks, and commercial risk management.
* Strategic, solutions-focused mindset with well-developed leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and financially astute.
* An excellent communicator with strong negotiation, influence, and problem-solving skills.
