Machine Operator - Day & Night Shift - Carole ParkWe are seeking a Machine Operator to join our Carole Park plant on a permanent full-time basis.25th November ****Machine OperatorAs a Machine Operator you will have a valid Forklift License and have worked within a similar manufacturing environment and be open to learn the necessary trade and skills to be successful.At James Hardie, we train and invest in our people to ensure we set you up for success.What the role involves:Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machinesSetting up and installing molds and other machine fixturesSetting grinding and cutting edgesCarry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicableEnsure process efficiencies are achieved and maintainedEnsure production is in line with the specified production scheduleEnsure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications and that process checks are performed as requiredActively participate in improvement projectsManual Handling tasks are performed as part of this roleBe flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift workComplying with all WHS safety practices and proceduresWhat you will need:Previous experience in a quality assurance environmentValid Forklift LicenseAvailable to work across a rotation Shift Pattern / 4 on 4 off2 x 12hr day shifts – 6am-6pm, followed by / 2 x 12hr night shifts, 6pm-6amStrong mechanical aptitudeDemonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplaceAbility to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operationStrong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skillsAll successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.Here at James Hardie, we are committed to achieving high standards in safety and ZERO HARM, quality and machine efficiency within our manufacturing plants.We are proud to be a WORK180 Endorsed Employer for Women, you can visit our WORK180 Page @ to find out more including a list of all our benefits and policies.As part of our recruitment process, a talent pool will be created for applicants who have been identified and assessed for a range of similar roles across our plants.Apply For Job
