Guide Dogs Queensland are the chosen charity partner for this year's Steadfast Convention - Australasia's largest general insurance industry event.
This year it is being held at the Gold Coast and will serve as a major gathering for over 2,000 brokers, insurers, and industry leaders to collaborate, learn, and discuss trends, with the 2026 event focusing on innovation, technology, and navigating industry changes.
We are looking for a team of 30 volunteers to join us at the Gala Dinner on the 24th of March to help raise funds and make this event a huge success!
**Event Details:**
* ** Date:** Tuesday 24 March 2026
* **Times:** 5:30PM - 12:00AM (with volunteer briefing to begin at 5:30PM)
* **Location:** Gold Coast Convention Centre
* **The Role:** volunteers will assist with setting out flyers on tables, spruiking attendees to pledge donations on the pledge forms and through the QR code on the flyers, collecting pledge forms off a set group of tables.
**What's required?**
* Volunteers must be comfortable speaking to members of the public \*please note a cheat sheet of talking points will be provided\*
