The purpose of this role is to improve the systems, tools and capabilities within the organization pertaining to material functions.This is a full-time position.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all warehousing operations: receiving, dispatching, and stock processing.Maintain material accuracy through meticulous stock control, variance reporting, and audit traceability.Coordinate daily logistics with the 3PL provider and manage export shipping requirements.Execute weekly Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) in Pronto for all external locations and customers.Ensure safe and efficient vehicle loading, raise non-conformance reports for quality issues, and optimize dispatch costs.Process supplier orders and invoices accurately, utilize Pronto for dispatch booking, manage dispatch documentation, reconcile stock, and contribute to customer satisfaction.Successful candidates will possess:Manufacturing & Quality Systems Expertise: Extensive knowledge of manufacturing systems/techniques and familiarity with ISO 9001.
Understanding of manufacturing costing.ERP & Inventory Management Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of ERP systems (Pronto preferred) and inventory management.
Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite.Warehousing & Logistics Acumen: 5+ years of progressive warehousing experience.
Experience in strategic operation and influence.Project & Process Skills: Proven project control skills and experience with LEAN methodologies (Kanban, 5S, SQCDP).Personal & Technical Attributes: Exceptional self-motivation, collaborative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a current Forklift License (essential).
Strong knowledge of the air-conditioning/heating business (desirable).
