Fantastic chance for a Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our Gympie Factory, where we produce our iconic coffee brands NESCAFE and INTERNATIONAL ROAST.

In this role, the Manufacturing Process Specialist will provide technical support to the production department in order to optimise the manufacturing process to generate world-class Green Coffee Usage results whilst ensuring the product is of the desired quality and respecting the safety and integrity of the manufacturing facility.

**A day in the life**

Reporting to the Production Manager, key responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to:

- Monitor line trends and efficiency, and pro-actively develop and implement corrective actions to to optimise coffee processing performance.
- Continuously review the operational process and identify strategies for developing and improving the factories competitive position.
- Work with marketing and PAG to support new product development through industrial trials.
- Develop expert understanding of the coffee manufacturing process and coffee characteristics to enhance production performance and ensure compliance with Nestec mandates.
- Provide support with the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing department.
- Develop training plans for operational staff and implement training programs to build Operator capability and ensure manufacturing excellence is achieved.
- Develop process and system improvements to enable the factory to operate at high efficiency and low cost.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and the Company's Health, Safety & Environment systems, policies and procedures.
- Identify, control, and eliminate safety hazards.

**What will make you successful**
- Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong team player with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement.
- Enjoy working within cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment.
- Should be a qualified Engineer (Chemical/Process/Manufacturing), preferably with min 4 years' experience in food manufacturing.
- Well versed in LEAN Manufacturing/TPM methodologies.
- Experience in change management and exposure to continuous improvement techniques.
- Good attitude to work and strong ability to have positive interactions with people.
- Ability to deliver results through others.
- You will demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
