About the Role:
We are seeking a Responsible Dam Engineer on a 6-month contract, with potential to extend. You will ensure the integrity and safety of water and tailings storage facilities through strong engineering governance and risk management practices.
Key responsibilities include:
* Dam operation, maintenance, surveillance, and emergency preparedness
* Instrumentation, monitoring, and verification of critical controls
* Governance of remedial designs and construction projects
* Risk assessment, compliance, and adherence to industry standards
* Stakeholder engagement and support across teams
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering (civil, water, or geotechnical preferred)
* Experience with tailings and water storage facilities across design, construction, and operation
* Strong technical capability, organisational skills, and adaptability
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Roster & Location:
* Based on-site in Central Queensland, with options for residential, FIFO from major centres, or DIDO
* Monday to Friday, typically four days on-site
