BINGO industries are looking for a
Financial Accountant
this is an exciting opportunity working out of our Head Office in
Auburn.
Please note this role is a 6 month FTE contract with the opportunity to convert to permanent.
Role & Responsibilities:
Identify manual and repetitive tasks within the finance function and propose solutions for automation.
Contribute to system enhancement projects, including documentation of processes and testing of changes.
Assist in embedding more efficient workflows using tools such as Excel, Power Query, or other automation platforms.
Ensure completion of month-end journals, reconciliations, and reporting tasks in line with the Group's financial close timetable.
Maintain accuracy of financial data through robust balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Support preparation of monthly management reports and ensure consistency with accounting standards and policies.
Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations, identify mismatches, and liaise with counterparties to resolve variances.
Perform intercompany invoicing and reconciliations.
Maintain a clear audit trail and documentation for all intercompany transactions.
Monitor daily bank balances and assist in cash flow forecasting.
Assist with bank reconciliations and account maintenance.
What makes you a GOgetter:
CPA or CA qualified
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting
Hands-on experience with month-end close, including journal preparation, reconciliations, and reporting
Exposure to treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and contribute to automation or system improvements
Strong working knowledge of month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments and general ledger reconciliations
Understanding of treasury functions such as bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
Awareness of automation tools and techniques
Previous use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is essential
Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel knowledge essential)
