We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Accountant to play a key role in financial management and strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the financial accounting responsibilities for multiple entities while also providing financial accounting services to support the broader corporate accounting team.
About the Job
* Manage month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate statutory reporting for all entities.
* Perform general ledger reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and group accounting, including consolidation adjustments and related party transactions.
* Develop and manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate financial planning and supporting leaders in meeting financial targets.
* Prepare GST, FBT, and Payroll Tax reports for submission to relevant authorities.
* Provide financial insights and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, XLOne, and SQL.
* Support internal and external audits through the preparation of financial reports and working papers.
* Lead or participate in projects to improve financial processes and internal controls.
This is a full-time role with hybrid work flexibility (up to 40% work-from-home) based at our main campus.
About You
* A degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
* Strong technical accounting skills, including the application of accounting standards to new business activities.
* Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
* Proven ability to work independently with broad direction, including managing and executing ad-hoc projects using project management skills.
* Ability to generate a strong sense of team spirit and collaboration within and across teams.
